David Hansen Design Inc. evolved from a highly successful design partnership, and became it's own entity in 2014. The firm's credo is to create enduring design always to a client's taste and budget. Design is problem solving, and all obstacles can be surmounted through informed decision making. The firm has collaborated with some of the Bay Areas most talented architects, licensed contractors and specialty artisans on many successful projects.
David Julian Hansen
Principal / Owner
David grew up in and around art, and has been engaged in the much sought after business of design for nearly his whole career. His career began with his tenure as a coveted retail display and visual merchandising professional. After working with the building trades in kitchen and cabinet design, he became a fully educated interior designer and has been designing all aspects of homes ever since.
His inspirations come equally from modernist icons like Gio Ponti, as well as iconic designers like David Hicks and Piero Fornasetti.
